I got this bag for my first grader who is obsessed with Captain Underpants. The lunch box and pencil pouch are fine, but the backpack is quite small. It is very narrow and not very deep. Since it also does not have a front pocket, it barely fits my son's lunch box, water bottle, and one inch binder. I would buy a bigger bag in replacement, but this one was so expensive that my son will just have to make due this year.
